I recommend using some of the included credits to buy equipment. However, some of the waterways that the DLC provides access to, like White Moose Lake, are best fished with heavier equipment. This DLC does not include a rod and reel outfit, unlike the 'Metalhead Motor' pack. It would be helpful to have the 3D viewer enabled to see which kayak looks best (I ended up selling the other kayaks, RedFox and BlueWhale, for baitcoins without using them, so I never saw their models). Unfortunately, I was not able to look at the 3D models of all the included kayaks, because to my knowledge, these kayaks are not sold in the main store where there would normally be a 3D preview. I liked the yellow SunFish 'Comfy' kayak the best.
